Interesting read for anyone following British Snooker. Ronnie O'Sullivan has been the bad boy of British Snooker for over 20 years. He has made more century breaks (100 points without a miss) in competition than any other player living or dead and holds the record for maximum breaks (perfect games of 147 points) in competition at 13. Ronnie is a complicated, intelligent and often troubled individual but yet comes across very likable. His second greatest love in life, other than his two adorable children, is running and the book is often more about his running addiction that snooker but snooker fans won't get a short shrift has he has plenty of detailed information about the inside story of professional snooker. I found the book a very enjoyable quick read, having been a snooker and Ronnie fan for several years. There is a wealth of high quality videos of Ronnie playing on YouTube including all his maximums, especially his fastest ever maximum of 5 minutes 20 seconds in 1997 when he was 21. A record that will likely never be matched or beaten. Ronnie doesn't leave anything out, the drugs, the temper tantrums, the depression are all here.

Great read. I am a huge fan of Ronnie O'Sullivan so it's no surprise I like this book, however it is worth reading even if you know nothing about Ronnie O'Sullivan. To read how one man can overcome many obstacles to become what some people call the most naturally gifted snooker player of all time is truly remarkable. Thanks for writing this book Mr. O'Sullivan.

I've just finished the reading and found very interesting to be inside the mind of such a champion. What I liked most is the candour with which Ronnie tells his story, the glorious moments as well as the bad ones... His style is unimitable, he writes as he talks. Once I started the book, it was hard for me to stop! Now, I better understand what he has gone through in his life, which reinforces my admiration for this snooker artist.

Honest, raw a true insiders view to Ronnie and the snooker circuit.

Sounds very honest and natural, like a long chat over a drink. I love how he discusses his uncertainties and psychological challenges. My Chimp sounds a lot like his, so getting to hear how he handles it is great.

Interesting, written in a little chaos, jumping from one subject to another, some repetition (this same fact said 2-3 times in different moment, chapters), but generally chapters have a close form. Good reading, last chapter, the best, all Ronnie Thoughts during final in 2013. I'm looking forward for similar Barry's reminiscence from the final.

Not a massive snooker fan but this was a good read. Lots of talk about his running obsession so I can imagine that May put off people who want to read more about snooker. Overall I enjoyed the book & would recommend it.

In general, the Time Out guides have been the most useful for us, for almost any city I can think of. This one for Paris is a standout, and even though there doesn't seem to be an update on the 2015 edition that we recently used, it's a winner. T.O. doesn't neglect to include the iconic Parisian sites that all first-time visitors want to see, but it goes way beyond that and takes you to places that make you feel like an insider. It's also pretty strong on food and shopping--with the understanding that these two categories are the ones most subject to change from year to year.I like the organization of the book by Paris districts (arrondissements) and the reasonably detailed instructions on how to use the transport system.I hope that they do update this guide, though it looks like the Internet is killing off this kind of publication. Nevertheless, I go back to a first comment--we used the 2015 guide and found it still valid for almost everything except for current art exhibitions, which have to be checked locally anyway.If you think you'd like this guide, check out Olivier Magny"s books on Paris also ("Stuff Parisians Like").

This Time Out edition was not up to the snuff of its Berlin, LA and NYC siblings. Used during a recent trip to Paris in the off-season, many of the recommended eating, shopping and sightseeing destinations turned out to be well-trod Yank/Brit haunts. The bars rang with twangy hipster teenagers, the flagship stores weren't so unique from those found in any metro galleria mall and the landmarks didn't need any pointers. Paris is an accessible, self-explanatory city with centralized museums, shopping and lodging, a snappy metro and cab system and friendly (YES, I mean that) colorful locals. I'd hoped Time Out Paris would direct readers to those more unique experiences the Lonely Planet gang can't afford and the insider joints the Fodors crowd won't try.

The cookbook does not have as many pages as other Williams-Sonoma cookbooks I own, its approximately 115 pages. Overall, it's a good addition to my extensive cookbook collection.

I'm a real Mexican with a REAL sensibility of how authentic Mexican food is supposed to taste, and I must say the recipes in this book are great!!! It's one of my favorite Mexican food cookbooks!Some of the recipes I've tried are the following:-Mole Poblano (from scratch)-Coffee and Kahlúa Flan (my favorite desert now thanks to this book)-Chocolate Cake with a hint of Chile Ancho-Stuffed Poblano Chiles with Walnut Sauce-Chicken Enchiladas With Salsa Roja-Pork Chops Marinated in Adobo Sauce-Mandarin Mousse-Watercress Salad with Jicama, Orange and AvocadoWhat I love about this book is that it teaches the American reader/cook that Mexican food is much more than just burritos and tacos. It's diverse, just like each region of Mexico is very different, and this book showcases this diversity very well; it also demonstrates that Mexican dishes can be (and often are) gourmet.I also LOVE the photographs that are included with each recipe. I prefer books with pictures because it makes you want to cook that dish.The Mole Poblano recipe in this book is DELICIOUS!!! I hosted a dinner party in which I prepared this mole, and my friends were impressed with the fact that I was able to make a dish as complicated as Mole Poblano from scratch (many people don't bother to make it from scratch anymore). It's a bit labor intensive, but definitely worth it!!

A thin volume with enough basic recipes and information to initiate those new to Mexican classics, or for those of us who don't want a whole big book of recipes to look through; sometimes you just want to get to something in particular quickly. Beautitful and tempting food photography as to be expected from Williams-Sonoma.

I was not expecting this Williams-Sonoma Mexican cookbook to be different from the Tex-Mex cuisine found in most Mexican cookbooks. I have made two of the recipes and both were winners to add to my personal recipe file. Looking forward to sampling more.

It is a good book. Kind of basic and a good introduction to Mexican cooking. Sadly, this WS book replaces a book named Seasonings of Mexico which was so much better. This book has a lot less recipes, history pictures, etc. It is basic, slim and has none of the extras the previous edition had. I expected this one to be more like the last edition, and hence I was disappointed.

This is a really fine little cookbook that covers the true range of genuine Mexican cuisine not just beans and tortillas. The recipes are well written and easy to follow and its is lavishly illustrated.

It's Mexican, a little bit more upgraded but not the real Mexican but I still like

I've purchased several Williams and Sonoma Cookbooks throughout the years for my children and me. This--as with all their others--is excellent quality. And the recipes are always good and easy to prepare.
