This event occurred in the community that I resided. Somewhat drawn out in the end of the book showing pity for the perpetrators.

This story will always be in my memory as it happened in my home town when I was a teenager. The story lives on, as the last man convicted of the murder of the four innocent women is going up for parole. Very nice profile of the Delhi Police Dept. It has been 45 years county residents still take the time to protest his parole. ( The other 2 killers died in prison.)

Too much court lingo. Hard to follow at times

thrilled with this one.

Kate March writes a compelling and matter of fact account of a heinous crime. Being a Cincinnati native I found myself right there with the investigators, walking the streets of Delhi Township. Kate's writing style gives you just enough to sink your teeth into the piece without making you feel overfed. Kudos to her and Howard Makin for bringing this story to print. I would be surprised if this isn't made into a major movie.

What a riveting story. Well written and the in-depth accounts that bring the reader along for the ride are exceptionally intriguing. The extensive research is embedded within a real life story that makes it a page turner. A great read for all.

I chose this book because I am a Cincinnati native and had never heard of this story. I would recommend this book to my niece who lives in Delhi.

Bought this for my son - he owns an '04 Impala with 150,000 miles on it. I believe every person should have some generalized idea about the workings of their automobile and this manual does exactly that. What has my son done with the manual? Like most teenagers, he has taken apart the dash and installed some exceptionally loud stereo. The beauty being, if I hear it or a neighbor mentions that they could hear it on the street, the car is mine for a week. We have also used it to fix small things such as a leaking trunk; shorted wiring runs to the taillights etc.Good generalized manual for someone needing some basic information but an expert might want more.

This is a service manual. It's good for DIYers. I did the major service items and needed the book. It sure saved me a lot of money over taking the car to the shop, and I'm always kind of suspicious that shops actually do all of the things they are supposed to do anyway.I changed the air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter, trans fluid/filter, power steering fluid, and spark plugs. The manual helped with most of these tasks.The back side spark plugs were a expletive to change. I would have given the book 5 stars if it had changed the plugs for me. ;)Oh, one other thing; the spark plugs listed in the book were the right ones. The auto parts store had different ones listed for my car, so the book helped me get the right plug. The other ones were a different heat range.

This manual covers a complete engine tear down and rebuild, but doesn't tell me where the upstream O2 sensor is. It shows how to rebuild a transmission, but doesn't say a thing about how to remove the rear center taillights. It seems like the everyday stuff is passed right over. Not useful to me at all.UPDATE***Even worse than I thought. When I tried to find the radiator drain-cock (a regular maintenance item) the book showed an arrow putting in the general direction of the radiator and said "HIDDEN". WTH???You're much better off doing an internet search.

As described in ad, used book in usable condition. Covers most things I've needed it for. Could have covered resetting things like "low tire pressure" light that came on but couldn't find anything about resetting trouble lights. Had to resort to Google for that... Good for general maintenance issues and service procedures, decent pictures that cover most years and models.

I ordered 1995-2005..gave me 1995-2003! I feel ripped off due to false advertisement!! Save your $$ for the year you really want! Not what I paid for!!

Book is advertised as 1995 thru 2005. What you receive is thru 2003. Nothing in the book I needed to reference was applicable to our 2005 Impala. Please change the picture and stop the false advertising.

Like others have stated, this manual cover several models over several years. It has the bulk of what I needed, but it would have been nice to have pictures for my Impala rather than a Lumina or Monte Carlo that have supposedly the same mechanics. I've used the book several times as a general guide and so far it has been helpful.

Mandatory book if you have a car that's covered. This specific book covers every year of this class vehicle - there are others that stop at 2003 or 2004.

A fine book with terrific photos of Deco jewelry. I never tire of looking at it.

Not useful for me... way too high end

The first sixty-seven pages of this lavish book are four illustrated essays on deco jewelry but basically from a French perspective (it was originally published by Editions Norma, Paris). One by Arlette Barre: 'Captivating the world', nicely covers the wider aspects of the subject and the connection to the various art 'isms' of the first thirty-five years of the last century and the importance of the 1925 Paris International Exposition.Another essay intriguingly considers jewelry and graphic design (plus typography) but looking through the pages at rings, bracelets, pendants and vanity cases I can see a connection between the flat graphics of posters and deco book covers of the period. Jean Fouquet and Gerard Sandoz work captures this feel perfectly. So much of the jewelry here is a clear contrast to the Art Deco bronze and ivory statues of Chiparus, Descomps or Preiss with their precise detail of dancer's costumes and females faces.After the essays the rest of the book considers eighteen designers and companies who probably produced the world's finest deco jewelry between 1910 and 1937. Each name gets several pages with an essay and photos (mostly color) of their work which are all captioned though oddly without any dimensions for the pieces.'Art Deco jewelry' is an excellent look at this particular creative art but also worth considering is a book with the same title by Sylvie Raulet published as a chunky paperback in 2002 with 792 photos (261 in color).

Arnold Lowrey has been painting in a variety of media for over twenty-five years. His motivation has been the use of light in painting, but he now experiments more with colour and texture. From the Preface: The life and writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer continue to inspire and provoke, comfort and challenge, nurture and unsettle his readers, now into the twenty-first century. This brief book is offered to introduce you to the wisdom and witness of this remarkable human being. Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a university professor with a doctorate in theology, a Lutheran pastor, a participant in the early ecumenical movement, a prolific writer, a central figure in the Protestant church struggle against Nazism. His participation in the plots to assassinate Adolf Hitler led to his arrest, imprisonment, and eventual death by hanging at Flossenburg concentration camp on April 9, 1945, at the age of 39. In this volume I have chosen brief excerpts from Bonhoeffer’s writings—books, articles, letters, poems, lectures, and sermons—that reflect the wide range of his work and the depth of the theological themes that absorbed him. The excerpts, printed on left-hand pages, provide the inspiration for short meditations on each text. In my reflections I have attempted to provide clues to what each brief text is about, its context, and most importantly its enduring witness for Bonhoeffer’s contemporary readers. Eight themes provide the focus for these reflections. The first is Church, a reflection of Bonhoeffer’s strong conviction about the social nature of everything about the Christian faith. The second is World, for this is where the church is located, and Bonhoeffer took Jesus’ prayer for God’s reign to come “on earth as it is in heaven” quite seriously. The third is the theme of Discipleship, following Christ, and the ways in which our faith and action in the world are intertwined. The fourth is Politics, for in Bonhoeffer’s day, as in our own, the most difficult sorts of challenges for our discipleship come when the church tries to live out its faith in a world that is decidedly political. Fifth is the theme of Creation, including meditations on the importance of the ways that we understand ourselves as creatures of God. The sixth is Christ, who has been the hidden center of all that has preceded this section. The seventh is Love, which Bonhoeffer saw to be at the heart of Jesus’ life and words and work. And we conclude with a section on the Future—Bonhoeffer’s, our own, and God’s. I hope you will encounter here matters to think and pray about, to argue with friends and family about, thoughts that will sometimes keep you awake at night and sometimes help you to sleep more peacefully. Perhaps they will help you look at your own faith differently. The success of any short book like this is measured by whether it makes you want to search out more of Bonhoeffer’s wisdom from his own writings and to learn more about his witness to God’s grace in a world torn by human folly.
